Art.no. 20RY

Enema tube, type Ryles (*) duodenal. Red rubber. We have 7 varieties to offer with 4 lengths and 6 diameters.

(*) Ryles vs Lavine

A metal weight or solid tip helps intubation and positioning in the patient.

(*) FG

FG or French Gauge is commonly used to measure the diameter or thickness of catheters or enema tubes. Sometimes CH is used; it is an abbreviation of the inventors name: mr. Charrière. 1 CH = 0.33 mm.

Which size fits best?

If you do not know, the best way to figure out is hit-and-trial.  There is no standard. Small 10-12FG) means more comfort, large (20FG+) means faster delivery of liquids and due to more stiffness less kinking.
